Embracing innovation to accelerate progress towards sustainable peace and security

Impart Change is a local non-profit organization that embraces conflict sensitive programming 'do no harm' approach, to enhance sustainable peace and development in local communities. We are a youth focused organization that empowers children and youth with peace-building, conflict management and violence prevention skills, knowledge and information. We embrace art and technology as innovative communication tools to champion sustainable peace and security interventions. Our strategic area of focus is in mitigating institutional and urban conflicts in Kenya's peri-urban and informal settlements. We implement our programs through local informal workshops, community outreach activities, local and international advocacy initiatives. To emphasize our mandate, Upendo Children's Intitative flagship project continues to improve the lives of vulnerable children in Mombasa affected by familial, communal and societal conflicts.
